The experiences of the few "free radios" in gironde are however at the beginning of a largest movement which gives rise to several tens of radios from which 44 will be legaly authorized to emit between 1983 and 1986; then they take name of " prived local radios". They concern in gironde more than 1500 persons in 1984. The development of these radios in gironde, as at the national level, is done in a legislative context altered on several occasion but which is not used. The social phenomenon, marginal and claimant of the "free radios" offering an anarchic character rediscovers quickly its proper laws of regulation which are essentially economics. The authorisation for the radios to have recourse to advertising's financing accelerates the process. At the experiences of associatives radios succeed the experiences of business radios with a very clear tendancy at the concentration by the integration of the radios in national networks. The prived local radios get also settle with regard to the local press and to the local administrative areas. The local information is treated by a limited number of radios. At the begining, the programms either generals or thematics and for community become more and more musicals for a young public. The local prived radios get a consistent hearing in gironde wich is estimated at one third of the total audience of the radio. The investigation of the girondin's case concerning prived local radios present little originality but allows to better understand their history in france.

Les experiences de radios libres peu nombreuses en gironde sont pourtant a l'origine d'un mouvement plus vaste qui donne naissance a plusieurs dizaine de radios dont 44 seront autorisees legalement a emettre entre 1983 et 1986; elles prennent alors l'appellation de radios locales privees. Elles concernent en gironde, plus de 1500 personnes en 1984. Le developpement de ces radios en gironde, comme au niveau national, se fait dans un cadre legislatif remanie a diverses reprises mais n'est pas applique. Le phenomene social marginal et contestataire des radios libres marque par sa forte anomie retrouve rapidement ses propres lois de regulation qui sont essentiellement economiques. L'autorisation faite aux radios de recourir au financement publicitaire accelere le processus. Aux experiences de radios associatives succedent les experiences de radios commerciales avec une tres nette tendance a la concentration par la prise du controle des radios dans des reseaux nationaux. Les radios locales privees s'organisent egalement par rapport a la presse locale et aux municipalites. L'information locale est traitee par un nombre restreint de radios. Les programmes a l'origine generalistes ou thematiques et communautaires deviennent de plus en plus musicaux centres sur un public jeune. Les radios locales privees obtiennent une audience consequente en gironde qui s'evalue a environ un tiers de l'auditoire global de la radio. L'examen du cas girondin en matiere de radios locales privees presente peu d'originalite mais permet de mieux comprendre leur histoire en france.
