This research concerned itself with the study of book industry and scientific information system in the sudan. It devoted itself to the analytical treatment of book's trade and professions, scientific and technical information services, and s. T. Policies in the sudanese society. It insists on the role of book as fundamental source of the scientific and technical information in our society, in other word, we are stressing on the tight relation between an flourishing book industry and effective scientific and technical informational services in the sudan. In order to relate our research with the international efforts and activities in the field of the bibliology, specially those of the international association of bibliology, we have achieved three supplementary tasks : 1) the first sudanese bibliography in the field of bibliology (83 documents, which are published in the sudan or on the sudan in this particular field ; 2) first professional directory of books and s. T. I. Services in the country (the republic of the sudan), this guid made as the aim of its scope to group together the working professional instituts and services of this field of activity in the sudan ; 3) an thesauros : in the field of bibliology (600 specialised selected terms, in three languages : french, english and arabic).

Il s'agit d'une recherche sur l'industrie du livre et le systeme de l'information scientifique et technique au soudan. Cet ouvrage a pour objectif, d'une part d'etudier et d'analyser les metiers du livre et les composants de l'i. S. T. A la societe soudanaise, et d'autre part d'etablir le role profond du livre comme source fondamentale a la production de l'information scientifique et technique dans le pays. Autrement dit, nous appuyons sur le lien entre une industrie florissante du livre et des services efficaces de l'information scientifique et technique au soudan. Dans le but de relier notre etude avec les activites internationales dans le domaine de la bibliologie, nous avons realise trois etudes qui repondent aux recommandations declarees par l'association internationale de bibliologie : 1) la premiere bibliographie soudanaise dans le domaine de la bibliologie ; 2) le premier repertoire professionnel du monde de l'ecrit et des services de l'i. S. T. Au soudan ; 3) un thesaurus dans le domaine de la bibliologie en trois langues : le francais, l'anglais et l'arabe.
