The approach of the web and prospective will depend on the considered framework of observation. The framed vision identifies a basis of study and assigns the limits of the system. The current interactions, in the considered framework of observation, are then significant and will direct the prospective trails. The web will be considered through three frameworks of observation : the web as closed system which represents the connected sites, the web like open system which reveals the socio-technical system related to the presence of the actors, the web considered as a complex system which answers the principles of complexity. Taking support on the system theory and using the method of the participating observation adapted to each framework of observation, the prospective tracks will differ although being complementary. The web as a closed system trends towards a structural research ; the web as an open system evolves at the rhythm of social construction ; the web as a complex system escapes the actors and presents an autonomous evolution

L'approche du web et de la prospective va dépendre du cadre d'observation considéré. La vision cadrée identifie un terrain d'étude et pose les limites du système. Les interactions présentes dans la considération du cadre d'observation sont alors signifiantes et vont orienter les pistes prospectives. Le web sera considéré à travers trois cadres d'observation : le web comme système fermé qui représente les sites connectés, le web comme système ouvert qui fait apparaître le système socio-technique relatif à la présence des acteurs, le web comme système complexe qui répond aux principes de la complexité. Prenant appui sur la théorie des systèmes et à l'aide de la méthode de l'observation participante adaptée à chaque cadre d'observation, les pistes prospectives vont différer et se compléter. Le web en système fermé tend vers une recherche structurelle, le web système ouvert évolue au rythme de la construction sociale, le web devenu complexe échappe aux acteurs et présente son évolution autonome.
