We tried to understand the genesis and the developpement of the japanese capitalism. As a parallel, we took england as un exemple ; in both cases, we chose the concept of perception of the pther. In particular, we analysed process of ceation of the modern state, the legitimacy of trading, and the standerisation of the labour system and the justification of the colonisation.

Par l'application de la notion de representation d'autrui, la presente these essaie d'apporter un nouvel eclairage a la genese et au developpement du capitalisme japonais en comparaison avec celui de l'angleterre. L'analyse porte notamment sur la formation de l'etat moderne, la normalisation de l'echange marchand et de l'organisation du travail, et la justification de la colonisation.
