The purpose of this thesis is to define from a phenomenological analysis how people of the technical civilisation perceive, use and think the technical objects of their daily environment. The objective is to lay the foundations of the psychosociology of the user starting from the hypothesis that he develops a mentality which is fundamentally different from that of the engineer. These developments theorize about researches in the real world according to four main lines : the appropriation of the new object, the conditions of the satisfactory use, the management of the complexity of the sophisticated techniques and the limits of the skill revealed by the dysfunction. Cette these a pour objet de cerner a partir d'une analyse phenomenologique comment l'homme de la civilisation technique apprehende, utilise et pense les objets techniques de son environnement quotidien. L'objectif est de jeter les bases d'une psychosociologie de l'utilisateur en partant de l'hypothese que ce dernier developpe une mentalite qui est foncierement differente de celle de l'ingenieur. Ces developpements theorisent des etudes de terrain selon quatre axes : l'appropriation de l'objet nouveau, les conditions de l'utilisation satisfaisante, la gestion de la complexite des techniques sophistiquees et les limites de la maitrise revelees par le dysfonctionnement. Sont examinees les implications pour le marketing et le design.
