Ce doctorat est une tentative d'apprehender le present de la confession libanaise a travers son passe car la mort du pere fut sans nul doute une piece maitresse dans la formation de l'actuelle confession. Cette mort engendra fratricide et regression aux valeurs maternelles : attachement a l'identite clanique ou territoriale, et justifia la violence grace a l'illusion fondee sur l'idealisation de la mere-confession et la devalorisation du frere, objet a detruire. L'idee de depart de ce travail est que la confession en tant que tissu socio-imaginaire est construit par son illusion qui lui donne sa specifiicite et determine son role dans le jeu entre son univers et le nous groupal. L'illusion confessionnelle serait une idole anti-religieuse aui depasserait la loi du pere pour revenir a la periode dut heros ou du pere de la horde, de ce pere jaloux et autoritaire. Cette illusion est anti-laique dans la mesure ou la laicite est oeuvre d'ouverture et de liberte. Or, la confession au liban se reforme sur elle-meme et sur son histoire legendaire ; la laicite devient, pour l'illusion confessionnelle, synonyme d'agoraphobie. Ce doctorat tente de decouvrir le fait collectif a travers le comportement de l'individu-combattaznt et vice versa. Aussi, l'enquete sur la violence et le vecu du combattant et sur son je, nous a t=elle aide a saisir la dimension relationnelle du nous groupale et son illusion basee sur l'eternel clivage : amour de soi et mort de l'autre.

This "doctorat" is an attempt to apprehend the lebanese denomination of today through its past since the death of the father definitely played a decisive part in the formation of the current denomination. That death breeds fracticide and a regression to mother values. Attachment to identity of clan and land and it legitimates violence thanks to an illusion bused on the idealization of the denominational mother and the depreciation of the brother, an object to be destroyed. The original idea of this work is that denomination as a socioimaginary material and is built upon its illusion that gives its specificity to it and determins its function in the game between its own universe and the group. The denominational illusion would be an anti-religions idol which would go beyond the law of the father in order to go back to the days of the hero or back to the days of the horde of the father of such a jealous and authoritarian father. Such an illusion stands against secularism in so far as secularism is a work which implies open-imndedness and freedom. Now, denomination in lebnon is closing on itself and on its legendary history. Secularism according to the denominational illusion hurns out to be synonymons with agoraphobia. The doctorat tries to unveil the collective fact through the belaviour of the individual combatant and vice versa. Therefore, the inquiry on the combatant, its violence
