The first part of the study concerns the constitution of the army since the 17th century, the formation of military identity and the most significants expressions of its relative institutional autonomy as well as the army's interrelations between the state and the society. Dans la première partie nous analysons l'évolution organique de l'armée depuis le 17ème siècle, la formation de l'identité militaire, dans sons sens social et corporatiste, pour etre à même de caractériser les expressions les plus marquantes de son autonomie institutionnelle relative et ses relations avec l'état et la société. Dans la deuxième partie, nous étudions l'inscription de l'institution militaire dans le processus de changement et de modernisation de la société, en analysant les phénomènes de politisation et de militarisation, ainsi que l'interventionnisme militaire en tant que phénomène politique, social et corporatiste
