The objective of this study is firstly to think about the relationship between literature and sociology and secondly to carry out a socio-anthropological approach of Franz Kafka’s works in order to test the profitability of literary texts inside the process of social knowledge. Through concepts like polysemy, aesthetics, interpretation. . . The work of sociology, her so-called value-freeness, her limits and possibilities are questioned, as well as the need to tackle social issues through interdisciplinarity, through the epistemological, theoretical and methodological flexibility and through humility. Finally from the field survey that is represented here by Franz Kafka’s works, questions about organisation, bureaucratization, justice and guilt are mentioned and connected with studies that were lead by sociologists like Goffman, Crozier, Foucault

Ce travail a pour objectif de réfléchir, dans un premier temps, sur les rapports qu’entretiennent entre elles la littérature et la sociologie puis dans un second temps, de tenter une approche socio-anthropologique d’une oeuvre, celle de Franz Kafka, afin de tester la rentabilité des textes littéraires dans les processus de connaissance du social. À travers des concepts tels que la polysémie, l’esthétique, l’interprétation etc. L’exercice de la sociologie, sa prétendue neutralité axiologique, ses limites et possibilités sont questionnées, ainsi que la nécessité d’aborder les problématiques sociales sous l’angle de l’interdisciplinarité, de la souplesse épistémologique, théorique et méthodologique, de l’humilité. Enfin, à partir du terrain que représente ici l’oeuvre de F. Kafka, les questions de l’organisation, de la bureaucratisation, de la justice et de la culpabilité sont évoquées et mises en relation avec les recherches menées à ces sujets par des sociologues tels que Goffman, Crozier, Foucault etc
