Les cultures techniques et le travail des paysans français face aux politiques publiques de vulgarisation et d'incitation économique

The thesis presents, in its first part, the technical cultures, work, and professions of stock-breeder and market-gardener. This analysis is characterized by an access to the affective, cognitive, imaginary dimensions of work and to the natural and living supports of that work. Referring to french books and oral african traditions, an historical approach introduces an enrichment of the study of the work through a comparison with important stock-breeding and market-gardening societies. The second part deals with the affects of cultural pauperization and with the emerging pathologies bound to methods of popularization and to paradoxes conveyed by national politics of economical incitement. Interdisciplinary methods are required to value those politics in order to approximate the psychical costs as well as the tactics of resistance among groups, to the denial of technical cultures.

La thèse présente, dans se première partie, les cultures techniques, le travail, les métiers d'éleveur et de maraicher, la transmission des savoirs en agriculture. Une approche des dimensions affectives, cognitives, imaginaire du travail et des supports naturels ou vivants de ce travail caractérise cette analyse. Une approche historique, à partir des manuels français et traditions orales d'Afrique, introduit un enrichissement de l'étude du travail par la comparaison avec les grandes sociétés d'élevage et de maraichage. La seconde partie traite des influences de paupérisation culturelle et de l'émergence de pathologies liées aux méthodes de vulgarisation et aux paradoxes véhiculés par les politiques publiques d'incitation économique. L'évaluation de ces politiques requiert des méthodes pluridisciplinaires pour en approcher les coûts psychiques et les tactiques de résistance des groupes, au déni des cultures techniques.
