This research formulates the question of the nosography of borderline patients. For that, il leans on a previous research, realized in 1968 by R. R. Grinker and al. Who have cleared four subtypes of borderline patients and therefore answered to the question of the nosography. This research centers around patient's behavior and their protocols of Rorschach and TAT. It used principal components analysis, factorial analysis and hierarchical analysis. Today results apperas under a different angle where the nosography wouldn't occupy the same place and where the etiology could answered more efficiently to a serious departure point for the therapeutic treatment of these patients.

Cette recherche pose la question de la nosographie concernant les patients états-limites. Pour ce faire, elle s'appuie sur une recherche antérieure réalisée en 1968 par R. R. Grinker et son équipe qui avaient dégagé quatre sous-types d'état-limite et donc qui avaient répondu à la question de la nosographie. Cette recherche s'articule autour du comportement des patients et de leurs résultats aux protocoles de Rorschach et de TAT. Elle utilise l'analyse en composantes principales, l'analyse factorielle ainsi que l'analyse hiérarchique. Aujourd'hui les résultats offrent un point de vue différent où la nosographie n'occupe plus la même place et où la psychopathologie pourrait être un point de départ sérieux pour la compétence et le traitement de ces patients.
