La tendance antisociale comme potentiel. : Explorations théorico-cliniques à partir de pratiques en ITEP pour adolescents.

This doctoral thesis explores the concept of antisocial tendency and the potentials of tranformation it contains in adolescence from a long-term clinical practice of individual psychotherapy in a Therapeutic and Educational Institution.The central issue of this research was built around three axes. First, we questioned the theoretical contributions and clinical manifestations of the antisocial trend. In a second step we explore the Winnicottian idea that the antisocial tendency would constitute an attempt of self-healing, that these manifestations would contain a potential, a hope, an attempt of psychic change for the subject. Finally, we propose to question the modalities of psychotherapeutic support in order to favor this potential and transform it into a transformational capacity for the subject by relying on the concept of psychic agency.This work has led us to support the idea that object relations modalities can be articulated according to three axes: prosocial, asocial and antisocial. These three axes can be considered as paradigms for thinking about the relation of the adolescent subject to his environment, allowing the antisocial tendency to be included as a component of the psychic functioning itself.The antisocial tendency can then be considered no longer as a pathological manifestation, but as a subjective construction aimed at responding to social and intrapsychic problems, one of whose objectives would be to facilitate the deployment of subjective agency, in order to remobilise, for the adolescent, a reappropriation of his inner world.The second part of the thesis, focused on the practical modalities of psychotherapy, supports the idea of a transitional analysis, necessary to promote the deployment of psychic agency. This work assumes a reassignment of this agency, initially focused on the environment of the adolescent. The conceptions of the analytic field, co-reverie and narrativity allow the clinician to mobilize a work of subject-environment differentiation, aiming at promoting, in the adolescent, a reassignment of his psychic agency towards intrapsychic issues.

Cette thèse doctorale explore le concept de tendance antisociale et les potentiels de transformation qu’elle contient à l’adolescence à partir d’une pratique clinique au long cours de la psychothérapie individuelle en Institut Thérapeutique Éducatif et Pédagogique. La problématique centrale de cette recherche s’est constituée autour de trois axes. Tout d’abord, nous avons interrogé les apports théoriques et les manifestations cliniques de la tendance antisociale. Dans un second temps nous explorons l’idée winnicottienne que la tendance antisociale constituerait une tentative d’auto-guérison, que ces manifestations contiendraient un potentiel, un espoir, une tentative de changement psychique pour le sujet. Enfin, nous proposons d’interroger les modalités d’accompagnement psychothérapique afin de favoriser ce potentiel et le transformer en capacité transformationnelle pour le sujet en nous appuyant sur le concept d’agentivité psychique.Ce travail nous a conduit à soutenir l’idée que les modalités de relations d’objets peuvent s’articuler selon trois axes : prosocial, asocial et antisocial. Ces trois axes peuvent être considérés comme des paradigmes pour penser la relation du sujet adolescent à son environnement, permettant d’inscrire la tendance antisociale comme un pan constitutif du fonctionnement psychique même. La tendance antisociale peut alors s’envisager non plus comme une manifestation pathologique, mais comme une construction subjective visant à répondre à des problématiques sociales et intrapsychiques dont l’un des objectifs serait de faciliter le déploiement de l’agentivité subjective, afin de remobiliser, pour l’adolescent, un ressaisissement et une réappropriation de son monde interne.La seconde partie de la thèse, portée sur les modalités praticiennes de la psychothérapie, soutient l’idée d’une analyse transitionnelle, nécessaire pour favoriser le déploiement de l’agentivité psychique. Ce travail suppose une réassignation de cette agentivité, initialement portée sur l’environnement de l’adolescent. Les conceptions du champ analytique, de la co-rêverie et de la narrativité, permettent au clinicien de mobiliser un travail de différenciation sujet-environnement, visant à favoriser, chez l’adolescent, une réassignation de son agentivité psychique vers des enjeux intrapsychiques.
