Abstract EN:
Starting from the notion of trauma which is to be found in beyond the pleasure principe, written in 1920, and in the project of scientifical psychology of 1895, the aim is to define the compulsion to repeat in metaphysical terms as a clinical phenomenon as well as a theoretical concept leading to the latest theory of instincts. The idea is to find, within such a model as the proton pseudos, the nature and function of the notion of origin, as the limit to the process of repetition, presupposing the setting up of a system of memory. The principle of repetition will be assessed within the notion of event. This notion is also studied within the compulsion to repeat. The clinical aspects are studied on the basis of traumatic neurosis and the idea of "confusion". The particularities of some of the freudian models close to the compulsion to repeat are also looked into in an attempt to repeat from the death instinct.
