The clinical encounter progresses within a particular space defined by psychoanalysts as a potential space. The author of this thesis suggests a specifically temporal dimensiopn of the encounter which he proposes to name potential time. Drawing from the temporal paradigm to establish the metapsychological theory of the clinical encounter, he puts forward the hypothesis of temporal figures arising from the psychological processing of information on the primal, primary and secondary registers. The articulation of these three figures would be at the origine of what the author names the temporal style. From there on, he examines from the temporal point of view the notion of psychical reality and, through various clinical (psychopathology of the old age, psychological accompaniment) and cultural (analysis of don giovanni from mozart, analysuis of the baroque mechanism) situations, he reports on the temporal conditions of the clinical encounter and its psychopoathological determinations.

Abstract FR:

Si la rencontre clinique se deroule dans un espace particulier defini par les psychanalystes comme espace potentiel, l'auteur de cette these propose de reperer une dimension specifiquement temoporelle de la rencontre qu'il propose de nommer temps potentiel. S'inspirant du paradigme temporel pour theoriser metapsychologieuement la rencontre clinique, il pousse l'hypothese de figures temporelles co-naissantes au traitement psychique de l'information sur les registres originaire, primaire et secondaire. L'articulation de ces trois figures serait a l'origine de ce que l'auteur nomme style temporel. A partir de la, il interroge temporellement la notion de realite psychique et a travers differentes situations cliniques (psychopathologie de la vieillesse, accompagnement psychologique) et culturelles (analyse du don giovanni de mozart, analyse du dispositif baroque) rend compte des conditions temporelles de la rencontre clinique et de ses determinations psychopathologiques.
