Cette etude comparative (eleves en echec scolaire de ses, section d'education speciale et eleves de ces, constituant l'echantillon temoin, tous eleves au college), se propose de montrer que selon le destin scolaire, les perspectives temporelles s'organisent differemment. La planification d'un projet, la capacite a attendre sont indissociables de l'histoire de l'individu, elles sont largement tributaires du passe scolaire mais aussi de la situation presente. Les eleves de ses delimitent un horizon temporel restreint, des perspectives moins importantes que celles des eleves de ces. Ces memes jeunes ont peu constitue de reperes lointains bien marques. Ils semblent plus aptes a etablir des etapes dans le court terme. Devant un choix, une tache a conduire, dans l'elaboration d'un projet, des processus defensifs viennent perturber la mise en oeuvre de la capacite de detour et de delai. Les eleves de ses raccourcissent les durees, ils agissent plutot dans l'immediat.

This comparative study about pupils in failure at school in ses (special education sections) and pupils of any secondary school sections which are the representative sample, wants to show that according to the school destiny the temporal prospects are organised differently. The planning of a project, the ability to wait cannot be separated from the person's own history, they are highly dependant from the curriculum but also from the present situation. The pupils in ses have a limited temporal view and fewer prospects than those of the pupils in ces. Those youngsters haven't set up a lot of future landmarks and well delimited references. They seem to be more able to establish short-date stages. Facing a choice, a task, during the creation of a project, some defensive processes disturb the implement in ablity to prostpone and overcome a problem. The pupils in ses shorten the periods, they rather act in the short term.
