This research is about student's alcohol expectancies. Alcohol expectancies mean all the expectations toward alcohol consumption that guide the behavior. A analysis concerning the alcohol expectancies characterizing the French student was realised. After that we decided to create a questionnaire : the Alcohol Expectancies Profile. This research is presenting precisely the different stages in elaboration and the validation of the questionnaire. In order to identify the role played by the alcohol expectancies in consumption, we have confronted this variable with a set of other variables that also influence consumption (e. G. Alcohol consumption of the parents, attitude). Finally, we present an experimental protocol usable in a preventive action with young people in the topic of alcohol expectancies. This action uses a protocol in a double-blind-situation with the aim of confronting and profane knowledge about the alcohol placebo effect and changing the alcohol consumption.

Abstract FR:

Cette étude porte sur les attentes vis-à-vis des boissons alcoolisées chez les jeunes. Une analyse précise des attentes caractérisant les jeunes Français a été réalisée. Sur cette base, nous avons procédé à l'élaboration d'un questionnaire : le Profil d'Expectations d'Alcool. Les différentes étapes de sa construction ainsi que sa validité statistique sont décrites dans cette recherche. Afin de mieux cerner la place occupée par les expectations dans les conduites d'alcoolisation, nous avons confronté cette variable avec un ensemble d'autres variables jouant elles-aussi un rôle dans les alcoolisations (e. G. Consommations des parents, attitudes). Dans le dernier chapitre, nous présentons les effets d'un protocole expérimental basé sur l'utilisation des placebos. Le but est de confronter les connaissances scientifiques actuelles au sujet des effets placebos de l'alcool avec les croyances des jeunes à ce sujet, ce afin d'induire des changements dans les modes d'alcoolisation.
