Aliénation, séparation, exclusion : psychopathologie de l'adolescence et clinique du lien social

From a clinical work with teenagers living in a public institution in Brazil we proposed to develop certain questions allowing us to advance in the bond between the analysis of faintness in the culture and the characteristics of the private clinic of adolescence. In search of invariants allowing us to think on the particular "names" of faintness in contemporaneity - in particular "social exclusion" - we tried to locate in the relationship between culture and social bond a structural condition similar to that which we find in the relationship between phantasm and symptom. In the specificity of teenagers in institution - the paradox of the social request is expressed in a radical way, exposing the principle exclusion which directs the operation of the speech. Beside this analysis, we could show that the exit teenager via the "sinthome" constitutes a way, which is not that of normality accessory to the phantasm but that of the invention of new "Names-of-father" who, the difference of the phallic metaphor, allows the singular inscription of the loss of the primary object.

A partir d'un travail clinique auprès d'adolescents vivant dans une institution publique au Brésil, nous proposions de développer certaines questions nous permettant d'avancer dans le lien entre l'analyse du malaise dans la culture et les particularités de la clinique de l'adolescence. En quête d'invariants nous permettant de penser sur les " noms " particuliers du malaise dans la contemporaneité -en particulier l'exclusion sociale "- nous avons essayé de situer dans le rapport entre culture et lien social une condition structurale semblable à celle que nous trouvons dans le rapport entre fantasme et symptôme Dans la spécificité d'adolescents qui se situent comme étant " hors de la norme "-tels que sont conçus dans le discours les adolescents en institution-le paradoxe de la demande sociale s'exprime de manière radicale, mettant à nu le principe d'exclusion qui oriente le fonctionnement du discours. A côté de cette analyse, nous avons pu montrer que la sortie adolescente via le sinthome constitue une voie qui n'est pas celle de la normalité complice du fantasme mais celle de l'invention de nouveaux Noms-du-père qui, à la différence de la métaphore phallique, permet l'inscription singulière de la perte de l'objet primaire.
