The first part of this thesis begins by a survey of brasilian history, where some aspects in relation to the theme have been emphatized. On one hand, the treatment of mental patients and the beginning of psychiatry as well as the emergence of freudism with the first persons to talk and write about the psychoanalytical theory. On the other hand, the first steps made to institutionalize the psychoanalytical movement on the model of the international psychoanalytical association, ipa. The second part of this research is devoted to the history of psychoanalysis in rio de janeiro as far as the coming of the lacanian movement in the 70s, welcome by psychologists because the ipa in rio de janeiro only accepted doctors to enter the professio until then. This thesis sustains that, thanks to this peculiarity, the lacanian movement has rightly more impact in rio de janeiro than in sao paulo where psychologists have been able to join the ipa since it established in the city. Finally, the particuliarities of the lacanian mouvement in rio, among which the desire for a brazilian psychoanalysis emerges, are put into light.

Cette these commence par un panorama historique du bresil ou certains aspects ont ete mis en relief en fonction du theme comme le traitement des malades mentaux et les premiers pas de la psychiatrie, l'arrive du freudisme, considere dans ce travail par les premieres personnes qui en parlent ou qui ecrivent des textes sur la theorie psychanalytique, et finalement les premieres demarches faites pour institutionnaliser le mouvement psychanalytique sur le modele de l'international psychoanalytical association, ipa. La deuxieme partie de cette recherche ce concentre sur l'histoire de la psychanalyse a rio de janeiro jusqu'a l'arrive du mouvement lacanien dans les annees soixante-dix, un mouvement bien accueilli par les psychologues alors dans l'impossibilite d'acceder a la profession de psychanalyste dans cette ville puisque l'ipa n'acceptait que des medecins. Cette these soutien que c'est justement grace a cette particularite que le mouvement lacanien aura plus d'impact a rio de janeiro qu'a sao paulo, ville ou les psychologues peuvent faire partie de l'ipa depuis son implantation. Enfin, il est egalement question des caracteristiques du mouvement lacanien a rio, mouvement au sein duquel le desir d'une psychanalyse bresilienne va se diffuser.
