For the o. A. U. The ultimate target is to realize the unity of the african continent. But nine of the o. A. U. Members has the same aim under the leadership of the ligue of arab states, and do work to realize the unity of the umma in both arab africa and the middle east, which means instead of a united africa a divided continent one north of the sahara or arab africa, the second or black africa south of the sahara with two separate destinies.

L'objectif des etats membres de l'o. U. A. Est la realisation de l'unite africaine. Mais neuf de ses membres, a savoir les etats arabes d'afrique, militent dans le cadre de la l. E. A. En vue de realiser l'unite de la umma arabe (d'afrique et du moyen-orient). Au destin africain commun se substitue l'evolution separee de ces deux entites africaines.
