The problem of legitimacy of power in contemporary greece (1979-1985). Altchough during the seventies the political action flows back in the western countries, in greece after the collapse of the dictatorship the politicization affects the social continuum and becomes the essential element of the social bond; increasing politization takes place in a period of social fluidity marked from the absence of any socially accepted rules able to have constraint effects on the political and social action. The principle of legitimacy, the basis of legitimacy, the legitimation and particularly the phase or the final state of legitimacy as well as the effects of the legitimation policies constitute the field of this thesis. The circumstances in which the change of 1974 occurs and the political practices adopted after that which, for ideological and political reasons, give greater place to the strategic action as well as the legitimation policies don't create an objectivized social framework.

Ce travail traite la question de la legitimite du pouvoir dans la grece des annees 1974-1985. Cette interrogation part de deux constats : alors que dans l'ensemble des pays occidentaux l'action politique pendant les annees soixante-dix reflus, en grece apres la chute du regime militaire la politique irrigue tout l'espace social et devient l'element constitutif du bien social; cette vague de politisation s'opere dans un climat de fluidite sociale marquee par l'absence de regles socialement consacrees exercant une emprise contraignante sur les types d'action en cours. Dans la premiere partie, consacree au concept de legitimite, nous elaborons quatre axes thematiques, constituant autant de champs d'etude: principe de legitimite, fondement de legitimite, legitimation et etat de lkegitimite ou legitimite finale. Notre travail porte pour l'essentiel sur le quatrieme axe, en termes plus concrets sur les effets des pratiques legitimatrices. D'ou la question a laquelle nous tentons de repondre: pourquoi les politiques legitimatrices ne creent-elles pas un un cadre social objective? les facteurs generateurs de cet etat nous semblent etre au nombre de deux: de deux: les circonstances dans lesquelles s'operent le changement de 1974 et les pratiques politiques adoptees qui pour des raisons tant ideologiques que politiques privilegient l'action strategique.
