Du libéralisme institutionnel à la démocratie moderne : étude comparative des institutions représentatives libérales en France et en Grèce

The institutional liberalism is an historical production in which the principles have been bounded in the "historical english area". As itself, the liberalism founded the political liberty and allowed the integration of the modern societies which are more and more diversified. The modern democracy came out from the link between the material given by this institutional liberalism and the human model created by the "lumieres". From this point of view the "historical french area" was closer to democracy. Moreover, france had an historical material which included the identification of large parts of society claiming for it in social action. As far as it concerns the greek situation, the political liberty remained a political myth constituting the greek nationalism and society that legitimited the transfert of the liberal institutions. These ones will not change in democratico-liberal institutions due to socio-cultural reasons as well as to socio-historical.

Le liberalisme institutionnel est une production historique dont les fondements ont emerge dans l'"aire historique anglaise". En tant que tel, le liberalisme fonda la liberte politique et permit l'integration de societes modernes de plus en plus diversifiees. La democratie moderne resulta de l'osmose du materiau apporte par le liberalisme institutionnel et du modele d'homme cree par les lumieres. De ce point de vue, l'"aire historique francaise" fut plus proche de la democratie, car la france disposa, par surcroit, d'un materiau historique supportant les identifications de larges parties de la societe qui s'en reclameront dans l'action sociale. Dans le cas grec, la liberte politique resta un mythe politique qui legitima le transfert des institutions representativesliberales; il sera constitutif de l'ideologie nationaliste de l'etat et de la societe. Ces institutions ne se mueront pas en institutions democratico-liberales pour des raisons aussi bien socio-historiques que socio-culturelles.
