Abstract FR:

Nous partons dans cette oeuvre d'un constat : un certain nombre d7echecs essuyes par l'organisation de liberation de la palestine dans la periode 1982-1985. Il s'agit essentiellement de la premiere guerre israelo-palestinienne; la dissidence au sein du mouvement fath et de la centrale palestinienne et, pour terminer, de l'affrontement militaire entre les fores syriennes et les forces restees loyages a yasser arafat. Le travail que nous entreprenons tente d'expliquer ces echecs. En ce qui nous concerne, nous formulons l'hypothese que ces echecs palestiniens sont dus a la strategie adoptee par les palestiniens vis-a-vis des etats arabes, d'israel et d'eux-memes. Il s'agit donc de l'echec de la strategie palestinienne. Echec qui a conduit aux pourparlers israelo-palestiniens et a l'autonomie administrative limitee. En somme, c'est la periode 1982-1985 qui est responsable a notre avis de la faiblesse de la position de l'o. L. P. A la fin des annees quatre-vingt dix. In this work we notice : a certain nomber of failures subjected by the palestine liberation organisation in the period of 1982-1985. It is a matter essentially of the first israelo-palestinian war, the dissidence within the fath movement and the central palestinian and to close : of the military confrontation between the syrian forces and the forces stayed loyal to yasser arafat. This work try to explain these failures. We formulate the hypothesis that these palestinian failures were due to the strategy adopted by the palestinians vis-a-vis the arab countries, israel, and them selves. So, it is a question of the failure of the palestinian strategy, which led to the israelo-arab talks and to the limited administrative autonomy. In short, it is the period 1982-1985 which is responsable -in our opinion- of the weakness of the p. L. O's position in the end of the nineties
