Being part of history as the man of "pan-europe", richard coudenhove-kalergi (1894-1972) has worked for twenty years on european unification. His efforts, particularly those he made during his years in exile in europe and america (from 1938 until 1947), have directly contributed to the gigantic enterprise that was the construction of european union immediately after the war. Having worked mostly "in the shadow" of thre big europeans, this man has nevertheless become one of the "founding fathers" of the united europe. The work he has accomplished before and during the war totally justify this statement.

Entre dans l'histoire comme l'homme de la "pan-europe", richard coudenhove-kalergi (1894-1972) a travaille pendant vingt ans a l'unification europeenne. Ses efforts, et plus particulierement ceux faits pendant ses annees d'exil en europe et aux etats-unis (de 1938 a 1947), ont directement contribue a l'entreprise gigantesque qu'etait la construction de l'europe unie dans l'immediat apres-guerre. Ayant souvent travaille "dans l'ombre" des grands europeens, cet homme est neanmoins devenu un des "peres fondateurs" de l'europe unie. Le travail qu'il a accompli avant et pendant la guerre le justifient pleinement.
