The purpose of this doctoral thesis is to draw the specificity of the rapid action force concept in the strategic thought as welle a sof tis application to the international background. Thus, the interest of the researc is to continuously put back the operational and institutional innovation of the eighties rapid action force(s) withing a long-run evolution of international relations. Througt the evolution of the international systeme, it represents the adaptation operations of the military tool to the strategic context. Highlighted in this way, the rapid action forces concept seems like central in an analysis which takes into accant progressives modifications and breaks up of the strategic world.
Abstract FR:
La these s'est donnee pour objectif de degager la specificite du concept de force d'action rapide dans la pensee strategique ainsi que son application a l'environnement international. Ainsi l'interet de la recherche est de replacer continument la novation institutionnelle et operationnelle des f. A. R. Des annees 80 drans une evolution de long terme des relations internationales. C'est, a travers l'evolution du systeme international, les manoeuvres d'adaptation de l'instrument militaire au contexte strategique. Ainsi mis en valeur, le concept de f. A. R. Apparait comme central dans une analyse prenant en compte les ruptures et les modifications progressives du monde strategique.
