The interest which research in management continues to grant to the unsolved question of the financing of the firm, finds in the object of this study and unquestionable ground of analysis. The organizational finance through the new theories of the firm knew how to put the actor and the various engaging parties in the heart of the governance of the firm. Within the framework of the unquoted Cameroonian domestic small to midsize firm, this structure is built around a set of identified determiners specific to this type of firm. If the "Family" as fundamental socio-economic concept in Africa is here the main thing, the profile of the leader-owner appears also to be a major determiner.

L'intérêt que continue d'accorder la recherche en gestion à la question non résolue du financement de l'entreprise, trouve dans l'objet de la présente étude un terrain d'analyse certain. La finance organisationnelle à travers les nouvelles théories de l'entreprise a su mettre l'acteur et les différentes parties prenantes au coeur de la gouvernance d'entreprise. Les pratiques de financement au sein de l'entreprise familiale africaine se révèlent être influencées par la structure de propriété du capital de l'entreprise. Dans le cadre de la P. M. I. Familiale camerounaise non cotée, cette structure est construite autour d'un ensemble de déterminants identifiés comme spécifiques de ce type d'entreprise. Si la "Famille" en tant que concept socio-économique fondamental en Afrique en est ici le principal, le profil du dirigeant-propriétaire se révèle entre autre comme un déterminant majeur.
