The impact of internationalization on the economic and financial performance of the companies is studied in this article with a geographical dimension. A single and innovative regional model is proposed and makes it possible to show that the taking into account of the couple zone of origin - destination area is fundamental to improve comprehension of the complex processes of internationalization of the companies. The assumptions constitutive of the regional model are confirmed by the econometric work completed on a sample of service companies American and European with dimensions of small size.

L'impact de l'internationalisation sur la performance économique et financière des entreprises est étudié dans cet article avec une dimension géographique. Un modèle régional unique et novateur est proposé et permet de montrer que la prise en compte du couple zone d'origine - zone de destination est fondamental pour améliorer la compréhension des processus complexes de l'internationalisation des entreprises. Les hypothèses constitutives du modèle régional sont confirmées par les travaux économétriques réalisés sur un échantillon de sociétés de services américaines et européennes cotées de petite taille.
