This research aims at studying the imbrication between technological and organizational innovations in high technology based SMEs. Although many studies acknowledge the alliance between technological and organizational dimensions of innovation, only a few really outline and study this phenomenon. A literature review on the relations between technology and organization emphasized the progressive transition from an exogeneous conception of technology and an adaptive conception of organization (mainly represented in the contingency approach) to studies which recognize the complementarity between technological and organizational innovations. Qualified as ± integrative α these last approaches also have weaknesses mainly due to the numerous definitions of concepts and the variety of organizations studied. Cette recherche vise à étudier l'imbrication entre innovation technologique et innovation organisationnelle au sein de PME technologiquement innovantes. Si de nombreux travaux reconnaissent aujourd'hui l'alliance entre les dimensions technologique et organisationnelle de l'innovation, peu de recherches se sont spécifiquement centrées sur la mise en évidence et l'étude de ce phénomène. Une revue de la littérature sur les liens technologie / organisation a souligné le passage progressif d'une conception exogène de la technologie et adaptative de l'organisation largement représentée par le courant de la contingence, à des approches qui reconnaissent la complémentarité entre les innovations technologique et organisationnelle. Qualifiées "intégratives", ces dernières présentent pourtant un certain nombre de limites essentiellement dues à la variété d'acceptions des concepts et des terrains d'investigation. En outre, elles permettent difficilement d'appréhender la nature des liens entre innovations.
