Les coopérations inter-entreprises dans un cadre sectoriel : éléments de méthode et propositions d'actions

The increase of competitive pressure, partly linked to the single market achievement, and resulting internal and external constraints for small and medium firms (continuous innovation, minimal economic size, range of products,. . . ) Leads these firms to include in their behaviour more flexibility and a better response to market news. As a result, new adaptation modes are to be operated to preserve and increase the flexibility of small and medium firms. Firms cooperation appears like a dynamique response to the need of management of the range of activities of the new environnement. Thus, the competitive position doesn't depend only on internal resources but as well on the structure of external relations. The purpose of the study is to make a contribution to three essential points : - how can small and medium firms manage environnemental constraints using "inter-firms cooperation" ? - at which level should "inter-firms cooperation" be identified as a management solution ? - how to favour the emergence of cooperation solutions and to create an environnement enabling this mode of operation and of adaptation ? Cooperation between firms is a new strategic response for small and medium firms.

L'augmentation de la pression concurrentielle, liée en partie à la réalisation du marché unique et les contraintes internes et externes qui en découlent pour les petites et moyennes entreprises (innovation permanente, taille économique minimale, gamme de produits,. . . ) oblige ces dernières à adopter un comportement plus flexible et plus réactif aux informations du marché. Dès lors de nouveaux modes d'adaptation sont à mettre en oeuvre pour conserver et augmenter la souplesse des PME. La coopération inter-entreprises apparaît comme une réponse de gestion dynamique des activités possibles dans ce nouvel environnement. Le travail vise à apporter une contribution sur trois points essentiels : - comment les PME peuvent-elles gérer les contraintes de l'environnement à travers les coopérations inter-entreprises ? - A quel niveau identifier la coopération inter-entreprise comme une solution en terme de gestion ? - Comment favoriser l'émergence de solutions en terme de coopération et créer un environnement porteur de ce mode de fonctionnement et d'adaptation ? La coopération inter-entreprises constitue en définitive une réponse stratégique nouvelle pour les PME.
