The purpose of this work is to propose an epistemological and methodological framework for the management of the voluntary help, whatever is the size, and whatever is the level, until that of the great charitable institutions, and in a national and international context. In the first shutter, we recall the history of the voluntary help in the activities. We evoke the way of directing this type of institutions for a better control of the trades and a better adaptability of the individuals in their medium of life. That is presented in an ethical, economic and social context. In the second shutter, we propose a certain number of tools aiming at a more operational management of the organizations of voluntary help.

Ce travail a pour but de proposer un cadre épistémologique et méthodologique pour le management du bénévolat, quelle qu'en soit la taille, et quelle qu’en soit le niveau, jusqu'à celui des grandes institutions charitables, et dans un contexte national et international. Dans le premier volet, nous rappelons l’histoire du bénévolat dans les activités. Nous évoquons la façon de diriger ce type d’institutions pour une meilleure maîtrise des métiers et pour une meilleure adaptabilité des individus dans leur milieu de vie. Cela est présenté dans un contexte éthique, économique et social. Dans le deuxième volet, nous proposons un certain nombre d’outils visant à un management plus opérationnel des organismes de bénévolat.
