The being and the justice in accordance with aristotle are examined under the angle of the relationship existing between the knowing subject (man) and the object of knowledge. The knowledge enables the knowing subject to appropriate the qualities of its object and is divided in theory and in practice, in proportion to whether it refers to the universe or the man respectively. Thus the word being means either the universe or the human society. The universe is a total within which are included certain being, i. E. , the substances: god, substances of the heaven (planets) and natural substances (natural bodies). The component elements of the natural substances are the passive material and the active form the cause of the change and movement. The justice refers to the human political society. The unit of social relationships constitutes the particular object of justice. The relationship of governorgoverned is the object of distributive political science. In accordance with aristotle the governing of the state must be committed to the best citizen. The financial relationships and the distribution of wealth is the object of corrective justice.

L'etre et la justice selon aristote sont etudies sous l'angle du rapport existant entre sujet-connaissant (homme) et objet de connaissance. La connaissance rend capable le sujet connaissant de s'approprier de proprietes de son objet et elle se divise en theoretique et pratique selon qu'elle porte sur l'univers ou l'homme respectivement. Ainsi le mot etre designe-t-il soit l'univers soit la societe humaine. L'univers est un tout dans lequel sont compris des etres individuels, soit des substances: dieu, substances du ciel (planetes) et substances naturelles (corps naturels). Les elements constitutifs des substances naturelles sont la matiere passive et la forme active, cause du changement et du mouvement. La justice s'applique a la societe humaine politique. L'ensemble des relations sociales constitue l'objet propre de la justice. La relation du gouvernement au gouverne est l'objet de la justice politique distributive. D'apres aristote le gouvernement de l'etat doit etre confie aux meilleurs. Les rapports economiques et la repartition des richesses est l'objet de la justice corrective. Enfin, la justice totale ou parfaite examine la formation du charactere des citoyens selon les preceptes de la loi morales (ethique).
