The study on the undp and the south-south cooperation deals essentially with the role played by the undp in the organization, the promotion and the establishment of technical cooperation between developping countries. It excludes the south-south undp cooperation which is more extended than the tcdc (technical cooperation between developping countries), as well as the south south cooperation of other organisations in the united nations system for developpment. Two chapters are dedicaced to this study. The first chapter deals in its first section with the origin of the tcdc since the bandung conference, of the undp commission and tries to redefine the technical cooperation between developping countries. The second section approaches the preparation of the united nations conference on the tcdc with the preparatory board, the local intergovernment meetings organized by the undp along with the four economic boards, according to the application of the relevant resolutions taken by the united nations general assembly. The second chapter studies in its first section the process of the united nations conference on the technical cooperation between developping countries, the elements of negociation and the analysis and acceptance of the texte contents, the second section of this chapter focuses on the follow up and influence of the

L'etude portant sur le pnud et la cooperation sud-sud traite essentiellement du role joue par le pnud dans l'organisation, la promotion et la mise en oeuvre de la cooperation technique entre pays en developpement. Elle exclut la cooperation sud sud du pnud qui est plus large que la ctpd ainsi que la cooperation sud-sud des autres organisations du systeme des nations-unies pour le developpement. Deux chapitres sont consacres a l'etude. Le premier chapitre traite dans sa premiere section de l'origine de la ctpd depuis la conference de bandoung, du mandat du onud et tente une redefinition de la cooperation technique entre pays en developpement. La deuxieme section aborde la preparation de la conference des nations unies sur la ctpd avec le comite preparatoire, les reunions intergouvernementales regionales organisees par le pnud en cooperation avec les quatre commissions economiques conformement a l'application des resolutions pertinentes de l'assemblee generale des nations-unies; le deuxieme chapitre etudie dans sa premiere section le redoulement de la conference des nations unies sur la cooperation technique entre pays en developpement, les elements de la negociation et l'analyse de l'adoption et du contenu des textes. La deuxieme section de ce chapitre a pour centre d'interet le suivi et l'influence de la conference des nations-unies sur la cooperation technique entre pays en developpement sur le droit international du developpement. Le suivi de la conference des nations unies est assure par le comite de haut niveau.
