Abstract EN:

At a time when the issue is still raised to know what kind of policy it is appropriate to implement in the developing countries in ordee to boost the economy, this doctoral thesis is aiming at contributing to the study of the banking guarantees in those countries. It highlights that some of the reasots of the difficulties met in the some countries as far as the banking guarantees are concerned are particular enongh moreover, on the one hand, it turns ont that the necessity for those countries to develop economically requires some banking guarantees which are adapted to the interests in place ; and, on the other hand, the implementation of the instruments and institutions that would enable the banking activity to really play its function in the economy.

Abstract FR:

A une epoque ou la question reste posee de savoir quelle politique il convient d'appliquer afin de favoriser le decollage rapide de l'economie, cette these a l'ambition de contribuer a l'etude des garanties bancaires dans ces pays. Elle laisse apparaitre que certaines des causes des difficultes rencontrees dans les memes pays en matiere de garanties bancaires sont assez particulieres. Par ailleurs, il en ressort que d'une part l'imperatif de developpement economique exige des garanties bancaires des qualites techniques mieux adaptees aux interets en presence; et d'autre part, la mise en oeuvre des instruments et des etablissements qui permettraient a l'activite de credit de jouer veritablement son role dans l'economie.
