This thesis is made up of four principale parts. The first allows for the analysis of the factors that the base of industrial installations : the infrastructure the policy of planification. . . And attempts to explain the industrail force at warc in tangier's and tetouan, compared with other cities. The process of industrial installation, or more precisely the history of this implantation, is examined in the second part, and the policy of regional planification and its effects on the studied zone. The industrail structure and its localization are analysed in the third section. This is done through an emphasis on the industrial sectors that were founded in these cities, and through a study of the industrial distinct's and zones. Social space, or the social effect of industry is studied in the fourth section. This approach attempts to explain the phenoneman of bourgeoisie distinct's and that of the entrepreneur, according to its social and geographical origin. . . At the some time, we can analyse the phenoneman of labour, with specific reference to women involved in the production of confectionary produits and rugs.

Cette these comporte quatre parties principales. La premiere permet d'analyser les facteurs qui attirent les installations industrielles : infrastructure, politique de planification. . . Et tente d'expliquer le poids industriel de tanger et de tetouan en comparaison avec d'autres villes. Le processus de l'installation industrielle, c'est-a-dire le fait historique de cette implantation a ete etudie dans la deuxieme partie. Elle s'articule sur la politique de planification regionale et son effet sur la zone etudiee. La structure et la localisation industrielle ont ette analysees dans la troisieme partie en mettant l'accent sur les secteurs industriels qui sont nes dans ces villes, et en etudiant les quartiers et les zones industrielles. L'espace social, ou l'effet social de l'industrie etait etudie dans la quatrieme partie. Cette approche essaie d'expliquer le phenomene de la bourgeoisie locale ou de l'entrepreneur, en fonction de son origine sociale et geographique. De meme, nous avons analyse le phenomene de la main d'oeuvre, surtout de sexe feminin qui travaille dans la confection ou le tapis.
