Aïn smara : aspects et problèmes de la croissance urbaine de la ville de Constantien

The algerian towns have known a growth beyond measure and constantine, the traditional metropolis of the eastern parts of algerian, lives that situation in a particularly critical way. Keeping a strong growing power, it is the tayet of a rural depopulation eathen though it is the prisoner of thery consined uneven site. Overcrowed as it is appeal to its nearly environment composed of four centers with a basic agricultural vocation : the khroub, hamma bouziane, didouche mourad and ain smara which lead to a sield work. The clearance of constantine and the throuwing out of its cumbersome equipment, especially industrial, on this environment have shown an anarchic spacial spreading, a negation of the original vocation of these centers and have not worked in the way of a rational repartition of its activities and equipments, of the contrary. The gap between the urban and rural world has grown hollow and regional space shows a deep lack of balance. Some solutions for a more rational use of the space has well as a regional balancy are put forward.

Les villes algeriennes ont connu une croissance demesuree et constantine, metropole traditionnelle de l'est algerien, vit cela de facon particulierement critique. Conservant un fort pouvoir d'attraction, elle est la cible d'un exode rural massif, alors qu'elle est prisonniere d'un site accidente et tres restreint. Saturee, elle fait appel a son environnement proche constitue de quatre centres a la base de vocation agricole : le khroub, hamma bouziane, didouche mourad et ain smara, qui donne lieu a une enquete sur terrain. Mais la decongestion de constantine et le rejet de ses equipements encombrants, notamment industriels, sur cet environnement se sont traduits par une extension spatiale anarchique, une negation de la vocation originelle de ces centres et finalement n'a pas joue dans le sens d'une repartition rationnelle des activites et equipements, bien au contraire. Le fosse entre mondes rural et urbain s'est creuse et l'espace regional presente un grave desequilibre. Quelques issues pour une utilisation plus rationnelle de l'espace, ainsi qu'un reequilibrage regional sont avancees.
