La pédagogie du judo de Jigoro Kano

Jigoro Kano (1860-1938), Doctor of philosophy of the University of Tokyo, is the creator of the judo as a way of formation, means of culture and discipline of improvement. Founder of a private school (Kano juku) and a gymnasium (Kodokan dojo) in 1882, J. Kano works out with his pupils a new practice of jujutsu, past martial art pertaining to the training of the Japanese warriors, on modern educational considerations. The thesis tries to show, by the study of the history of this teacher and by the analysis of its method, that the judo is a pedagogy : a coherent unit consisted of gesture and a method of teaching based on the search and the practical application of the universal principle of the "best use of energy". The study of this principle is carried out according to a process of mutual aid and "prosperity". It is carried out within the collective framework of Dojo, place where seeks itself and is built a personal culture

Jigoro Kano (1860-1938), Docteur en philosophie de l'Université de Tokyo, est le créateur du judo en tant que voie de formation, moyen de culture et discipline de perfectionnement. Fondateur d'une école privée (Kano juku) et d'une salle d'exercice (Kodokan dojo) en 1882, J. Kano élabore avec ses élèves une nouvelle pratique du Jujutsu, art martial révolu appartenant à la formation des guerriers japonais, sur des considérations éducatives modernes. La thèse tente de démontrer, par l'étude de l'histoire de cet éducateur et par l'analyse de sa méthode, que le judo est une pédagogie : un ensemble cohérent constitué d'une gestuelle et d'une méthode d'enseignement fondées sur la recherche et la mise en pratique du principe universel de la "meilleure utilisation de l'énergie". L'étude de ce principe se réalise selon une démarche d'entraide et de "prospérité mutuelle". Elle s'effectue dans le cadre collectif d'un Dojo, lieu où se cherche et se construit une culture personnelle
