Nowadays parenthood emerges as a "social problem" and becomes the target of public policies and psychological , medical and social speeches. The laws and decrees of 2002 concerning Parental Rights indulges the institutions to cooperate with the parents who have these rights. In the field of Child Welfare the question of the cooperation between the parents and the professionals is considered with more acuteness. This required temporary foster care crystallizes the fears , questions the professionals' positions, the practices and the representations of everyone. The thesis presents a process of Research and Actions in a foster care service. The fact of taking into account the protection and the emancipation of the child removed from his family and who is in the foster care system underlies this longitudinal study about the relationship between parents and professionals. The procedure of the practician/searcher is supported theoretically by the sociology of the configuration of Norbert Elias, sociology based on a pentadimensional model in which Playing is the privileged means for the sociologist. This complex model is based on relationship, concrete world and processes in a dynamic defined by space, time and the consciousness that people have of them. Elias invites us to cross the disciplinary frontiers. In a project aiming at improving the structures of interrelations and the cooperation between the actors/subjects, Elias assigns the searcher the task of " making intelligibles the links of interdependency within the configuration of double link formed by the foster care and to understand and explain the way the actors live and interpret their relationship with the world taking into account the most intimate level of feelings and affects

Actuellement la ¨parentalité¨ émerge comme ¨problème social¨ et devient la cible des politiques publiques et des interventions psycho-médico-sociales. Les lois et décrets de 2002 relatifs à l'Autorité parentale ¨obligent¨ les institutions à une coopération avec les parents détenteurs de cette Autorité. Dans le champ de la protection de l'enfance la question de la coopération entre les parents et les professionnels se pose avec plus d'acuité. Cette suppléance parentale ¨obligée¨ cristallise les peurs, interroge les positions professionnelles, les pratiques et les représentations de chacun. La Thèse présente un processus de Recherche et d'Actions dans un service d'accueil familial de l'Aide Sociale à l'Enfance. La prise en compte de la protection et de l'émancipation de l'enfant déplacé/accueilli sous tend cette étude longitudinale des rapports entre parents et professionnels. La démarche du praticien-chercheur est soutenue théoriquement par la sociologie des configurations de Norbert ELIAS ; sociologie fondée sur un modèle pentadimensionnel dont le Jeu est l'entrée privilégiée par le sociologue. Ce modèle complexe est relationnel, concret, processuel dans une dynamique définie par l'espace, le temps et la conscience qu'en ont les hommes. Elias invite donc à franchir les frontières disciplinaires. Dans un projet visant à améliorer la structure des interrelations et la coopération entre les acteurs/sujets, Elias assigne au chercheur la tâche de " rendre intelligibles les liens d'interdépendances à l'intérieur de la configuration à double lien formée par l'accueil familial et à saisir et expliciter la façon dont les acteurs vivent et interprètent leur rapport au monde en prenant en compte le niveau le plus intime des émotions et des affects
