Concentration is the mouvement which leads to the formation of larger productive units. An analysis of a series of factors which contribute to the birth of this phenomenon of which the role has considerably strengthened during this century. The Greek economy at its present stage of development does not appear to have adopted the characteristic traits of an industrial economy and includes a certain number of structural elements which limit her capacity to unify harmoniously with her European economic partners. This can be explained by the low level of verticalisation in her manufacturing industry.

La concentration est le mouvement qui entraine la formation d'unités productives de plus en plus grandes. Analyse d'une série de modalités qui contribuent à la naissance de ce phénomène, dont le rôle a été considérablement renforce au cours de ce dernier siècle. L'économie grecque, au stade actuel de son développement ne semble pas avoir adopté les traits caractéristiques d'une économie industrielle et comporte un certain nombre d'éléments structurels qui limitent sa capacité de s'unir harmonieusement aux économies occidentales. Cela se traduit par un taux de verticalisation de son industrie manufacturière peu élevé.
