Twenty years after the release of "the unequal trade" by Arghiri Emmanuel, this work gives a review of the discussion. More than international trade itself, the basic point is actually the formation of world values. The main axis of this essay concerns the international perequation of the profit rate. It is shown that this perequation may not be regarded a s the central point of the analysis. This one leads to a description of the formation of world prices of production. It reveals that the unequality of the producers on the world market should be far more related to unequalities of productiv ity than to unequality of wages, which can not play the unilateral role arghiri emmanuel ascribes them.

Vingt ans après la parution de "l'échange inégal" d'Arghiri Emmanuel, ce travail dresse un bilan de la discussion. Au de la du commerce international, la question fondamentale est en réalité celle de la formation des valeurs mondiales. L'axe principal du propos concerne la péréquation internationale des taux de profit, dont on montre qu'elle ne peut constituer r le point central de l'analyse. On aboutit à une description de la formation des prix mondiaux de production. Celle-ci révèle que l'inégalité des producteurs sur le marché mondial concerne avant tout les différences de productivité, et non les différences de salaires, qui ne peuvent jouer le rôle unilatéral que leur attribue Arghiri Emmanuel.
