The thesis tells of an experiment in a public sectorized psychiatric institute for infants and adolescents mostly psychotic. The organization of the scheme and the individual and collective psychotherapy is based on sociological, anthropological and psychanalytic theories, considering familial, social and societal links of individuals, leading to different statutes of illness in cultures, but with probably universal schemes. Societal myths and mythical psychanalytic constructions are associated in this institute for treating individual mental illness, as linked with general institutional facts in society. Psychiatric sectorization is a social institution that can be studied by anthropology. In a first part are given theorical roots of the experiment ; in a second part is studied the application, owing-to anthropological revelating meaning of mental illness towards interdiction, rules and codes, - to levels of structuriza- tion of individuals and groups, - to groupal questions with individual and collective effects.

Le these rend compte d'une experience menee dans une institution psychiatrique publique sectorisee recevant des enfants et des adolescents psychiquement perturbes, psychotiques la plupart. L'organisation du cadre fonctionnel et celle des psychotherapies individuelles et collectives qui y sont menees, reposent sur des donnees theoriques sociologiques, anthropologiques et psychanalytiques. Le cadre tient compte des liens familiaux, sociaux et societaux des individus, aboutissant a des statuts differents de la maladie suivant les cultures, semblant renvoyer a des schemas universels transcendant chacune. Mythes organisateurs des societes et constructions mythiques de la psychanalyse sont articules dans le cadre institutionnel de prise en charge des faits individuels de folie, avec un lien au phenomene institutionnel general de l'organisation societale. Le secteur psychiatrique est une institution sociale qui autorise son etude anthropologique. En premiere partie sont donnees les sources theoriques du cadre de l'experience ; en deuxieme partie est analysee la mise en application en prenant en compte - la fonction anthropologique revelatrice de la folie par rapport aux interdits, regles et codages, - les niveaux de structuration des individus et des groupes, - les problematiques groupales avec leurs effets individuels et collectifs.
