Abstract EN:

The subject of this work is to study the entrance of young people in the professional life and the examination of the factors which are liable to describe the forms of inserting. In this purpose, we will analyse : -the main mechanisms of the formation of unemployment seen from the angle of the modifications of training characteristics and young people diplomas, and demographic and economic factors of the disequilibrium of supply and demand in the field of labour; -the structure of young people's unemployment, through the measure and interpretation of their inferiority on the labour market from their age, their sex, their qualification level, and from the circumstances in which they were put out of work. -the principal mechanisms which explain the change in the conditions and forms of the access to employments : the characteristics of the jobs and the places of the youth's insertion, the means of recruitment used by the firms, modes of management and selection of the labour and politics of the state. The professional progression of young people will finally be given on one hand, within the general framework of the adjustement of a transitional period between the school and the professional life and on the other hand in the dualism of the labour market.
