This study tries to explain the political, social and religious aspects of the pilgrimage to the virgin of neubois. The objective is to have a general idea which could determine who the pilgrims are, through the history of the founder members, through the general history and through tha religious practices. It was noticed that the religious beliefs system which is developed in neubois attracts a whole set of values which are characteristic of the group in which every pilgrim seems to find his place. It's a specific and original system of thinking which leads the members to understand the world in a particular way and propose a solution to its disfunctioning (disorder, confusion). This system of values is founded on the interpretations of the history of the virgin's apparitions at neubois from 1872 to 1880 and on joseph de maistre's philosophy with some royalism and nationalism. The firstpart develops the history which founded the pilgrimage. The second part describes and analyzes the pilgrimage just as it can be seen nowadays. The last part looks into the question of the people who are faithful to the virgin of neubois, what are the values and the system of reasoning which motivate them.

Cette etude est consacree aux aspects politiques, sociaux et religieux du pelerinage de notre-dame de neubois. L'objectif est d'atteindre un ensemble de significations qui permettent de cerner les representations des pelerins, et cela a travers les figures fondatrices, l'histoire, et les pratiques. Il a ete constate que le systeme de croyances developpe a neubois draine tout un ensemble de valeurs propres au groupe, et dans lequel chaque pelerin semble se reconnaitre. Il s'agit d'un systeme de pensee specifique et original qui permet aux adeptes d'apprehender le monde d'une certaine maniere, et de proposer une solution a son dysfonctionnement. Ce systeme de valeurs est fonde sur les interpretations de l'histoire des apparitions de la vierge a neubois de 1872 a 1880, sur la philosophie de joseph de maistre, avec une teinte de royalisme et de nationalisme. Une premiere partie developpe l'histoire qui fit naitre le pelerinage, une seconde decrit et analyse le pelerinage tel qu'il peut etre observe de nos jours, et la derniere partie est consacree a l'etude des representations des fideles a notredame de neubois, avec comme ligne de force les valeurs et la logique qui les anime.
