Abstract EN:

Which are the transferential phenomena recovering what is interpreted as death ? Thoughts on the matter of death, death instincts and mythical murders are analysed here, as well as death as a signifier. Freud wrote on this subject in connection with negation, representation, belief and its effect on the unconscious, but his assumption that the unconscious cannot negate is not taken for granted here. The logics of what is representable and what is not are relinquished in order to account for unconscious material. Two specific cures with bodily symptoms provide evidence that the disappearance of "objects" has echoes in the unconscious fantasy anatomy. The meta-psychological basis of the cure as a space for body and language is emphasized thanks to an examination of the role of sex in psycho-analysis. This leads to a meta-psychological theory of indefiniteness as a formalisation of the unnameable and of the formless, from the point of view of aesthetics and its experiences of the uncanny.

Quelles manifestations transférentielles recouvrent ce qui s'interprète de la mort ? Les pensées sur la mort, les pulsions de mort, les meurtres mythiques et la mort comme signifiant sont analysés. Freud a traité de la mort en l'articulant à la négation, à la représentation, à la croyance et à ses répercussions inconscientes. Le postulat de l'absence de la négation dans l'inconscient est ici relativisé et nous sortons des logiques de la représentabilité et de l'irreprésentabilité pour rendre compte des matériaux inconscients. Deux cures aux symptômes corporalisés montrent que les "choses" qui périssent retentissent sur l'anatomie inconsciente fantasmatique. Les fondements métapsychologiques de la cure en tant que lieu du corps et du langage sont soutenus. Ceci aboutit à une métapsychologie de l'indéfini comme formalisation de l'innommable et de l'informe depuis l'expérience esthétique de l'inquiétante étrangeté.
