This analysis is related to the attempt to implement a new development model in nicaragua after the collapse of the somoza dictatorship. An analysis is made on how the sandinista strategy tried to solve the structu ral problems of the nicaraguan economy and how it tried to lead to a new insertion into the international economy. After the period of national reconstruction and its successes, the aggression by the us administration intensified. However in 1982 the sandinista government began to implement a number of big agro-industrial projects. Already in a situation of crisis, the process of forced accumulation has led to greater problems. On the other hand, the agrarian reform had accomplished an important distribution of land to the peasants. However the agrarian reform had been too much centred on the state farms. After a few years, a number of important debates have led to partial corrections of the strategy and of the economic policies of the sandinistas. Nevertheless the american aggression has continued and has provoked great deal of destruction and has hampared the implementation of a new model of development nicaragua.

Cette analyse porte sur la tentative de mettre en place un nouveau modele de developpement au nicaragua apres le renversement de la dictature somoziste. On presente la strategie sandiniste pour resoudre les problemes structurels de l'economie nicaraguayenne et trouver une meilleure insertion dans l'economie internationale. Apres la periode de reconstruction nationale avec des resultats tres positifs l'agression de l'administration nord-americaine s'etait intensifiee, cependant en 1982, le gouvernement sandiniste avait commence la mise en oeuvre des grands projets agro-industriels. Dans ces circonstances de crise, l'accumulation forcee a provoque davantage de tensions. D'autre part, la reforme agraire avait redistribue des terres aux paysans mais avait mis trop l'accent sur les fermes d'etat. Apres quelques annees, et suite aux debats, on a fait des corrections partiel les dans la strategie et dans la politique economique. Neanmoins, l'agression nord-americaine a continue a provoquer une destruction considerable du pays et a entrave la mise en place d'un nouveau modele.
