The question of the tradition in the catholic contemporary theology is interesting for many different reasons. First of all, this study needs to nabe on "status questiones" of it before the second vatican council. Thus it's necessary to book at protestant and orthodox reflections about tradition. So, the reiverbum constitutions and the work of the assembly o montreal are, in the same time, the consecration of all these reflections and also the starting of a new time in the theology of tradition. Really, the ecumnical dialoges and the new voy of malsing catholic dogmatics lead to see. The questions of tradition in a wider ivew. Nown this question in the catholic theology is also the question of the interpretation, of the liturgy and inculturation and of the experience of christian life. The theolo gical evolution about tradition shows that this question becomes wider : being first only a dogmatic matter, it's now the underground of every question

La question de la tradition dans la theologie catholique contemporaine est interessante a plus d'un titre. D'une part, l'etude de ce sujet oblige a faire l'etat de la question avant le concile vatican ii. L'apport des renouveaux multiples du xxe siecle ont permis de faire d'utiles distinctions. D'autres part, la prise en compte de la reflexion protestante et orthodoxe a l'avant vatican ii s'impose deiverbum et l'assemblee de montreal sont a la fois point d'aboutissement de la reflexion et point de depart pour un elargissement substantial de la question. En effet, la pratique des dialogues oecumemique, la reorganisation des grands dogmatiques renouvellent en profondeur la presentation thedogique de la question de la tradition. Celle-ci voit son champ d'investissement s'elargir de plus en plus pour etre vue dans l'etat actuel de la reflexion comme la question de l'interpretation de l'evenement fondateur comme celle de l'expedition liturgique de la foi, comme celle de l'inculturation et de l'experience de vie chretienne.
