Pauvrete et diaconie a la lumiere de la croix - essai de christologie diaconale

The aim of the thesis is to relate christology to the problem ot poverty considered as exclusion linked with a lack of resources (have, can, know). In history since the xvth century, the poor have been excluded because they reter the rich to their own poverty. The biblical message in this respect (expressed particulary by deuteronomy, the prophets, luke and paul) consists in questioning false riches, which are the negation of human poverty, and in giving back dignity to the poor on behalf of god. Christ enables one to assume one's own poverty, a precursory sign of death, in the light of the cross, to develop a brotherly attitude made of service and community towards the left out. In particular, luther, hegel and junger reflected over the fact that evil is overcome "from inside", by attaining consciousness and by being expressed in speech, thus making it possible to fight evil with mourning and action. This fight is more particulary the task of diakonia, founded on common humanity lived in christ. Diakonia today, pursued in a secularized society, could find a new identity by being practised in the ligt of-the cross, in a communal sphere linking words and acts, opening on a renewed political action. In the face of unemployment, the chuch must question thre social ethics based on dignity through work and propose forms of worksharing and insertion into the production process.

L'objectif de la these est de mettre en relation la christologie et le probleme de la pauvrete comme exclusion liee a un manque de ressources (avoir, pouvoir, savoir). Dans l'histoire depuis le xvie siecle, les pauvres sont exclus parce qu'ils renvolent les riches a leur propre pauvrete. Le message biblique (exprime en particuler par le deuteronome, les prophtes, luc et paul) consiste a remettre en question les fausses richesses, negations de la pauvrete humaine, et a rendre une dignite au pauvre de la part de dieu. Le christ permet d'assumer sa propre pauvrete, signe avant-couteur de la mort, a la lumiere de la croix, pour developper une attitude fraternelle, faite de service et de communaute, vis-a-vis des exclus. En particulter luther, hegel et jungel ont reflechi sur le fait que le mal est surmonte "par l'interieur", en accedant a la conscience et en etant exprime dans le langage, rendant possible la lutte contre le mal par le deuil et l'action. Cette lutte est notamment l'affaire de la diaconie, fondee sur la commune humantie vecue en christ. La2 diaconie actuelle, exercee dans un contexte de secularisation, trouverait une nouvelle identite en se faisant a la lumiere de la croix, dans un cadre communautaire articulant une parole et une action, debouchant sur une action politique renouvelee. Face au chomage, l'eglise porrait remettre en question l'ethique sociale axee sur la dignite par le travail, pour proposer des formes de partage du travail et d'insertion dans le processus de production.
