The exegetic and structural analysis of chapters 8 through 11 of the book of hosea reveals five oracles. The first deals with the negative influence over the religion as a result of political alliances. The second shows the futility of formalist worship and the problem of the prophets drawing away from their function of exhortation. The third attacks the baalistic worship to fertility, described as dangerous. The fourth corroborates the religious and political anarchy that ruled after the second conquest of samaria. The fifth oracle focuses on the relationship between god and his peuple. The language and the style of the book are characterized as being a true phonological exposition (alliterations, assonances, etc. ). The combination of these contribute to establish a coherent train of ideas in this book and show the desire of the author to choose a way of expression adapted to oral discourse. Hosea analyses the history in a rational form and utilizes it to discover the keys of interpretation fo the events occurring during his time. Thus, he views an inverse exodus. The use of maledictions confirm that the message of hosea is cemented in the alliance with the lord. For the prophet, the royalty as well as the religious leaders have push themselves away of the practice of mercy and justice. God is worshiped in the image of a calf. Hosea shows a god who looks after his peuple as a father over his son and who loves him unconditionally.

L'analyse exegetique et structurale des chapitres 8 a 11 du livre d'osee met en evidence 5 oracles. Le premier traite de l'influence nefaste, sur la religion, des alliances politiques avec les grandes nations. Le deuxieme oracle montre l'inutilite d'un culte formaliste et d'un prophetisme qui s'est detache de son role d'exhortation. Le troisieme oracle s'attaque au culte baaliste de la fertilite qui est decrit comme insense et dangereux. Le quatrieme constate l'anarchie religieuse et politique qui regne apres la seconde prise de samarie. Le cinquieme oracle est centre sur la relation entre dieu et son peuple, basee sur l'amour. Le langage et le style du livre se caracterisent par une veritable exploration du champ phonologique (alliterations, assonances, paronomases,. . . ). Ils contribuent a etablir la coherence des idees du livre et montrent le choix d'un moyen d'expression adapte au discours oral. Osee aborde l'histoire de facon rationnelle et l'exploite pour decouvrir les clefs d'interpretation des evenements de son temps. Ainsi il voit un "exode inverse" puis un nouvel exode. L'emploi des maledictions prouve que le message d'osee est ancre dans l'alliance avec l'eternel. Pour le prophete, la royaute comme l'apparat cultuel se sont eloignes de la pratique effective de la misericorde et de la justice. L'eternel est adore sous la forme d'un veau. Pour osee, la solution des problemes ne doit etre recherchee qu'en l'eternel. Le livre temoigne d'un dieu qui s'implique dans les aleas de la vie de son peuple.
