Abstract EN:

The first step of our research was aimed at elucidating the idea that the imagination occupies a privileged position in bachelardian thought because it transforms itself into a major faculty of the human spirit. The image is thus tho product of a pure spontaneous faculty and dependent neither on perception nor instinctive impulsions. It is an absolute and instantaneous act of the will to logos of the human being. Secondly an effort was made to show that spoken image of wich it is question in the philosophy of the bachelardian imagination has its ontological consistency. With its beginnings in an impersonal onirical source. Thus the image would not exist - as in sartre's work - wich a back ground in the real world, but in the ancestral archetypes. Also it becomes evident after as analysis of the author's work that as much his philosophy of science as his poetics are under the sign of a metaphysics of time. Instantaneous time dictates the dialectic of open reasoming wich progresses only by successive rectification as well as by the creative dynamics of an imagination obliged at every moment to celebrate in images the opening of a new world.
