The process where by human subjectivity is constituted is approached through a lens different from the cartesian presupposition that separates the subjective (internal) from the objective (external). Our research leads us to think this process as a creative codetermination between the psychic activity of the singular subject and society's instituting imaginary activity. Exploring the way of being of psychism and the way of being of society from the point of view of the freudian reflection and Castoriadis'ontology of human creation allows us to understand the constituting articulation between psychism and society, while at the same time elucidating effective possibilities for individual and social transformation.

Notre façon d'aborder la subjectivité humaine implique de s'éloigner du présupposé cartésien qui sépare le "subjectif" (l'interne) de l'"objectif" (l'externe). Dans notre recherche, nous avons pensé ce processus en tant que codétermination créatrice entre l'activité psychique du sujet singulier et l'activité imaginaire instituante de la société. L'exploration des modes d'être du psychisme et de la société, du point de vue de la réflexion freudienne et du point de vue de l'ontologie de la création humaine de Castoriadis, nous permettent d'articuler constitutivement la psyché et la société et, dans le même temps, d’élucider les possibilités effectives de la transformation sociale et individuelle
