The infinite is the basic concept of hegel's philosophy and the logic which gives to the system his articulation is build up through this concept. The first part of this work gives clear indication of the difference between hegel and the others philosophers about the definition of the infinity of the thought. The second part analyses the structures of the science of logic according to the dialectical movement of the concept of infinite. But the logic of infinite explains the rest of the system too, that is the philosophy of nature and these of spirit ; that is the subject of the third part. The world looks as a creation of the infinite thought and this is the sense of the dialectic of infinite and finite which is created by infinite. In this manner ontology, which was logic, comes back as dialectical, being of nothing. The only real being is spirit and the system closed as encyclopedia makes clear the meaning of logic as act of this spirit. Infinite is so eternal return in oneself and the circularity of the system is the image of the real infinite.

L'infini est le concept clef de la philosophie de hegel et la logique, fournissant ses articulations au systeme, s'organise tout entiere selon ce concept. La premiere partie de la these montre que la definition de l'infinite de la pensee differencie hegel des autres philosophes. La seconde partie analyse les structures de la science de la logique selon le mouvement dialectique du concept d'infini : infini unilateral, infini lie au fini, retour de l'infini. Mais la logique de l'infini explique aussi le reste du systeme, i. E. La philosophie de la nature et cele de l'esprit. C'est l'objet de la troisieme partie. La logique exprimant deja l'infini, le reste n'est donc possible que comme une creation par la pensee infinie. Tel est le sens de la dialectique de l'infini et du fini qu'il cree. Ainsi l'ontologie remplacee par la logique ressurgit la comme dialectique : etre d'un neant. Le seul etre fondateur est celui de l'esprit et le systeme clos comme encyclopedie fait apparaitre le sens de la logique comme acte de cet esprit. L'infini est donc retour a soi eternel et la circularite du systeme est l'image du veritable infini.
