Our thesis treats ethics and corruption in Lebanon's enterprises. In the first part, we define the plurality of the themes inherent in ethics and corruption. Then we study how corruption is manifested in the field, especially the notion of clientelism which is a paroxysm of corruption in Lebanon. In the second part, we question the effectiveness of corruption which can be liable by lubricating the wheels of a sclerotic administration. The aim of these interrogations is to propose institutionalized reforms and a formalization of ethics in the Lebanese enterprises. In order to be efficient, these reforms need the combined efforts of public and private sectors working under the rules of a sound competition in a free market. Moreover, the civil society, especially the Lebanese family, is a prerequisite tool for the reform.

Notre thèse traite de l'éthique et la corruption dans les entreprises au Liban. Dans une première partie nous définissons la pluralité des thèmes inhérents à l'éthique et à la corruption. Puis nous étudions comment se manifeste la corruption sur le terrain, notamment la notion de clientélisme constituant le paroxysme de la corruption au Liban. Dans une seconde partie nous nous interrogeons sur l'efficacité de la corruption; cette dernière étant susceptible d'être efficace en lubrifiant les rouages d'une administration sclérosée. Le but de ces interrogations est de proposer des réformes institutionnelles et une formalisation de l'éthique dans les entreprises Libanaises. Ces réformes, pour porter fruit, requièrent les efforts conjugués des entreprises publiques et privées oeuvrant au sein d'une concurrence saine, répondant aux normes du libre marché. En outre, la société civile, dans laquelle la famille Libanaise constitue la pierre angulaire, est un outil sine qua non de réforme.
