After analyzing in the first par the foundations of the Platonician theory of art, the author tries in the second part to show the philosopher's originality by studying the important part played by tradition and artistic background in Plato's works. In the third and last par the author studies how Platonician aesthetics work, by focusing on all the elements that combine/contribute to create a work of art. The conclusion shows that the Platonician concept of beauty is a complex one and that the problems posed by Platonician aesthetics are the foudations of modem aesthetic theories.

Après avoir analysé dans une première partie les fondements de la théorie artistique platonicienne, l'auteur essaie dans une seconde partie de dégager l'originalité du philosophe en étudiant le rôle et l'importance de la tradition et du contexte artistique dans l'œuvre platonicienne. Dans la troisième et dernière partie l'auteur étudie l'opération artistique platonicienne en s'intéressant à l'ensemble des éléments qui contribuent à la détermination et production d'une œuvre d'art. La conclusion montre que la beauté platonicienne est une idée complexe et que les problèmes posés par l'esthétique platonicienne sont fondamentaux dans les théories esthétiques modernes
